While fur garments offer good cold resistance, they still require careful daily care. Proper care helps maintain the fluffiness and luster of the fur, extending the garment's lifespan.
When wearing fur, avoid prolonged contact with rain, snow, and large amounts of water. If it gets wet, do not use a hairdryer on a high heat setting, and do not place it near a heater or fire source for quick drying. The correct method is to gently shake off the surface moisture and then allow it to air dry naturally in a well-ventilated area.
When storing fur, use wide-shouldered hangers to avoid creases caused by prolonged folding. Leave sufficient space for the garment and avoid excessive compression with other clothes.
If the fur has noticeable stains, it is recommended to have it professionally treated by a fur care company. Do not attempt to clean it yourself using ordinary laundry detergent, alcohol, or similar products. Before storing it for the season, you can also have it professionally treated and then place it in a breathable garment bag.
