How To Clean A Plush Backpack

1. Apply cleaning agent. Apply leather cleaner to the dirty areas of the bag. Toothpaste can also be used. If it's not very dirty, dish soap can be used.

2. Soak the dirt. Wait three to four minutes after applying the leather cleaner to allow the dirt to soak in before cleaning.

3. Scrub with a soft brush. Choose a soft-bristled brush, or a soft-bristled toothbrush. If using toothpaste, mix it with water. Scrub gently and repeatedly, without applying too much pressure.

4. Wipe the brushed areas clean with a light-colored cloth or towel, preferably white.

5. Air dry. Place the cleaned bag in a cool, shady place indoors and let it air dry slowly. Do not expose it to direct sunlight, as this will damage the bag.
